Installation Requirements
The Aquanet EC-2000™ is designed for quick and easy installation and removal for servicing.
Water Pressure in Your Building
(*At its lowest point, ie. If water from the same source is used at the same time at other points of use, the water pressure is reduced. Example: Toilets, Sinks, Showers etc.)
| Optimal Operation | 50 to 80 PSI (3.4 to 5.5 Bar) | Longest use out of Filters |
| Marginal Operation | * 25 to 50 PSI (1.7 - 3.4 Bar) | More frequent change of Filters |
| Sub Standard Operation | * Below 25 PSI (1.7 Bar) | Booster Pump is recommended to increase pressure to within 50 to 80 PSI (3.4 to 5.5 Bar) |
Hot Water Supply
A hot water heater tank is required that is capable of delivering * 0.4 Gallons (1.6 Lt) at 130° F (55° C) per minute continuously. (* For cold climate area. Warmer climates require less hot water production). For multiple Aquanet Unit operation multiply the hot water requirements by the number of units to be operated at the same time.
Please note: In-Line tankless water heaters are not sufficient for accurate operation of the Aquanet EC-2000 unit.
Plumbing and Electrical Requirements

1¼ inch (43mm) drain connection with U trap configuration. Note: If space allows we recommend the installation of a sink within easy reach in the treatment room. An easy and simple way to hook up the Aquanet unit’s waste line and water supplies, is to first install a sink 16” (40 cm) to the right of the Aquanet unit and then connect the unit’s waste pipe to the waste drain under the sink using a separate U trap configuration before the sink drain. Likewise connect the hot and cold water supply hoses of the unit to the pipes under the sink using separate shut off valves. Note: If you are installing the Aquanet movable stand version then the connection of the unit’s waste pipe to the building’s waste drain needs to be at or near floor level. |

1 hot and 1 cold water supply with shut off valve (standard male garden-hose threading). Hot and cold water pressure needs to be equal. |

1 double electrical wall outlet (grounded and polarized) 110 or 230 volt. Preferably within 4 ft. (120 cm) of Aquanet Unit. |
We recommend that all plumbing and electrical be installed by professionals. Check with your local regulatory authority before installation since local plumbing and building codes need to be adhered to.
